MANTEIGAS

Covão d’Ametade
Covão d’Ametade, at an altitude of 1500m, is one of the most beautiful places in Serra da Estrela. Surrounded by birch trees and rich biodiversity, it is ideal for hiking, climbing and relaxing moments surrounded by nature.
Estância de Ski
In winter, Serra da Estrela is ideal for snow sports. The ski resort, at an altitude of 2,000m, has modern infrastructure and artificial snow production, guaranteeing up to 150 days of snow per year.
Poço do Inferno
The Poço do Inferno waterfall, at an altitude of 1,080m, is a famous tourist destination for its crystal clear, icy waterfall, which flows through granite and schist rocks, creating an impressive landscape.
